The Siamese and Oriental Cat Society held it's first Committee meeting for 2008 at the Presidents' home in Oxfordshire. There were 10 members in attendance, 1 member who attended via telephone conference, and 3 apologies.

Items on the agenda were: Introduction of new committee members, TICA charter application, SOCS fundraising, public relations matters, hosting of SOCS first TICA show, welfare matters for rehome and abandoned Siamese and Oriental cats, the SOCS first journal edition,

All Committee members had tremendous input into the items on the agenda and many plans have now been made that will be put into fruition during 2008. The next Committee meeting will be held on July 5, 2008.

The Committee would like to thank their President, Vice President, and Journal Editor for opening up their home to host the meeting and for providing such a delicious buffet.
